Our style of cuisine is known as “la cocina tapatía”. This refers to the large, dark eyes associated with the beautiful tapatía women from the central state of Jalisco.

Las Cazuelas Restaurant has been serving the greater Silicon Valley community for over 40 years. Owner and host Grace Armas, brings delicious, authentic cooking to San Jose’s historic Rose Garden District.

The word “cazuela” in Las Cazuelas Restaurant refers to a deep clay pot and evokes memories of slow cooked meals with robust flavors.

Jalisco is the root of “Jalapeño”, that familiar and flavorful chile, key ingredient of our restaurant’s famous homemade salsa fresca.
